Yes, on any pre-owned vessel. A marine survey and sea trial are how you find what the listing photos don’t show, and the results are normal grounds for renegotiating or walking away. FYI coordinates the surveyor, the haul-out, and the sea trial as part of the purchase.

From accepted offer to closing is usually a few weeks, driven by survey scheduling, financing if you’re using it, and documentation. FYI’s in-house closing team handles escrow, documentation, titling, and registration, which removes the third-party delays that stretch out most transactions.

Nothing. In a standard brokerage transaction the commission is paid by the seller out of the sale proceeds, so working with an FYI consultant as a buyer costs you nothing and gets you independent representation, comparable-sale data, and someone negotiating on your side.
